This ski is sick. Cannot imagine why you would even want the SHO over this one when all its going to do is give a slightly better acceleration and bit more speed on a flat day. Especially when the supercharged version means increased fuel cost and maintenance. The 1.8L, 180HP engines torque and acceleration at certain speeds will easily throw someone off the back if they are not hanging on. I was worried this was going to be heavy and no fun in swell and surf, but it is so nimble and feels very light. Very stable and comfortable as well. The cruise control is great and fuel economy is much better than I was expecting. You will probably never use a whole tank in one day. 42 hours on mine so far and not a problem. One downside is that the electric bilge and the bungs don't remove all of the water. There is constantly 2-3cm of water around the back of the ski. Storage could be better but it's still more than enough for a day trip for two. This ski rocks, I am planning on keeping it for 5years plus and so far, it looks like it will go the distance with regular maintenance.
Upgrades/Accessories: Non yet as cannot find anyone that makes them. Expecting in 2010 mods should come out. Things I will look at are, new intake grates and prop hopefully to reduce cavitation, and then some small engine mods for little more power and speed, but this is not needed.
